In 2024 I graduated cum laude from the Photo Academy with my project ‘Naked with the Truth’. 

In my work I investigate the human body as a carrier of past experiences. Experiences from early life are stored within the body. In my work I look for ways to express my own experiences. It is my way of communicating what memories my body has. 

In ‘Naked with the Truth’ I destroy and then 'repair' my photos of female nudes. I look for the essence of each individual image and try to reinforce it by making a physical intervention: by tearing, folding, cutting, sanding or painting I damage my photos to a greater or lesser extent. Sometimes I restore them in a certain way, whereby the 'scars' remain visible.
