I draw my inspiration from empty, desolate landscapes. Rugged, primal, quiet and spacious. Places where humankind feels small and insignificant.
A sense of wonder and awe toward the earth is my starting point.
My work is dreamy, yearning, and poetic, often with a feeling of stillness, sometimes heavy and dark.
I seek to capture the essence of what I feel and observe.
The works themselves are small, usually no larger than A4. The vastness is found outside. Sitting in silence, listening, watching, and hopefully just as full of wonder as I am.
