Lotte is a photographer & fine art artist of limited edition prints.

After studying Hotel Management School in Maastricht and later Photography in Amsterdam, I worked in the field for over 14 years, mainly in fashion photography. Over time, I started combining my photography with other materials, exploring mixed media and collage in collaborations with other artists.

Layering plays a big role in my work. By mixing different images of my own images, with abstraction art, textures, paint, and shapes, I built visual stories that reflect my deeper emotions, memories, and meaningful encounters tangible.

In my work, I combine darker elements with vibrant colors to reflect both the beauty and the struggle. A shift between optimism and old wounds, between estrangement and playfulness.

Experimentation, personal encounters, and collaborations with other artists inspire my process, my ongoing search for the magic of dimension in visual language and expression.  

My three years in Portugal enriched my work with a sense of patience, vibrant color palettes, and energy, which is reflected in my project Scorched Earth (2024).

As a positive and open-minded visual artist. My talent and passion for art and creativity drives me to inspire myself with others to see photography as a dynamic medium.
