Claire Pon

Claire Pon

Nature is her inspiration. Colour is her expression.

Claire Pon’s work arises from a deep need for freedom and connection — with herself, with nature, and with what lies beneath the surface.

Nature is her greatest source of inspiration. She finds energy and joy in the coexistence of chaos and order, and in the way they naturally find balance. Organic forms, shifting seasons, recurring patterns, growth and renewal all serve as reflections of the human experience.

As a self-taught artist, Claire works intuitively. She begins without a predetermined image, allowing the painting to reveal its own direction. Through layered compositions, colours and forms overlap, transform and breathe. It is within the tension between surrender and structure, freedom and boundary, that her work emerges.

For Claire, colour is a language — a translation of emotion, energy and movement. Her palette is vivid, layered and often exuberant, inviting both presence and curiosity.

Her paintings offer an open space: an invitation to slow down, to feel, and to observe without the need for immediate understanding.

Freedom in connection lies at the heart of her work.
